Keeping an Eye Out
There is no question it’s important for squirrels, birds and other wildlife to have access to food and shelter in order to keep themselves sustained throughout the cold, winter months. In this photo it appears this red squirrel is definitely keeping an eye out for something. Maybe it’s found a new nest or burrow. Perhaps it has its eye on a bird feeder nearby and is just waiting for the birds to fly away. Whatever it’s doing, this squirrel earns today’s Biofriendly Image of the Day. Keep on keeping on, little squirrel!

Yeah, finding food in winter is not always easy to do. Nice you are giving them food and water! 🙂

We feed the outdoor cats in winter. They were pretty hungry this morning. Even the water we put out turns to ice right away, but at least they can get some from the snow.
