Doing Biofriendly Good Deeds – 9/11 Day of Service

Sometimes life can get a little overwhelming. You can get so sucked into your work or personal issues that you don’t always see past them in order to lend a hand or help someone else in need. It’s probably happened to everyone at some point in their life, so don’t feel bad if you haven’t helped as much as you would have liked. This year’s 9/11 National Day of Service is a good opportunity to take some time and do a few biofriendly good deeds.

You don’t need to change the world in one day and to be honest, you don’t even need a special day to come along before you can start doing biofriendly good deeds. But when one does come along, it is a simple way to get out there and contribute.

President Obama declared 9/11 as a National Day of Service and Remembrance. One of the greatest ways to remember loved ones we have lost is to do something that honors their memory. Do something that honors their sacrifice. Figure out a way to contribute to improving life and the world around you, no matter how big or small.

As Anne Frank said, “How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.”
