Can you help the environment by using

You’ve probably seen their trucks driving around or at least seen their commercials…but did you know that when you use to pick up your junk it is better for the environment than just tossing it yourself?  Why?  Because unlike other junk removal services, tries to recycle or donate as much of each pickup as possible.

First of all, they take away almost ANYTHING from old furniture to appliances to electronics to yard waste, etc. (They take anything non-hazardous that two people can lift.)  In order to get rid of those kinds of items yourself, you’d probably have to drive around to 2 or 3 different places because most waste removal companies won’t take them.

Second of all, like I mentioned above, not only picks up your junk but they take some time and effort to sort through it so they can recycle or donate any items possible.  It is a great solution for getting rid of your junk without having it all thrown in the local dump.  Then to top it all off, they clean up after they have loaded up your junk for removal.

Basically you are paying someone to pick up your junk, sort through it, take it to the transfer station/dump and clean up after they are done.  That’s not too shabby.  You don’t even need to move the items out of the garage (or room they are stored in), the workers will go directly to the junk and move all of it for you.

A personal suggestion….before you give them a call you might want to see if you have any items such as clothes, furniture in good condition, etc that Goodwill or The Salvation Army will accept as they will come and pick up at your house (for no charge).   Then if you want a “better for the environment” option than having a dumpster placed in your front yard or having to load and dump the remaining junk yourself, check out  Considering I won’t have time to sort through/dump the junk we have accumulated before we move, I’m planning on using them very soon.  If you have tried them, I’d love to hear what you think.
