Global Warming, is our environment really at risk?

The fact or fiction of global warming is a heated subject, no pun intended. There are many who don’t believe that global warming is happening while others feel that it is a large part of major environmental changes across the globe.
The Natural Resources Defense Council informs us that due to carbon dioxide and other air pollution that is collecting in our atmosphere, the sun’s heat is getting trapped and causing the planet to warm up. Per their report, coal-burning power plants are the largest U.S. source of carbon dioxide pollution with automobiles as the second largest source – creating nearly 1.5 billion tons of CO2 annually.
Since most of us don’t own coal-burning power plants, what can we do to lower the global warming pollution coming from our own cars? Fueleconomy.gov has a few tools that can help you compare cars, get gas mileage tips, get information on hybrids, diesels, alternative fuels, etc. They also have a tool which allows you to see the estimated annual fuel consumption, air pollution score and CO2 emissions for your vehicle.
And if you find your car doesn’t score very high, you can always take immediate action and use a proven fuel additive, like Biofriendly Corporation’s Green Plus® fuel enhancer. Green Plus is designed to help lower your vehicle’s harmful emissions, improve fuel economy and even improve horsepower.
When it comes to global warming there are simple steps each of us can take to make a difference. If you have any proven tips on how to make a difference, I’d love to hear about them.
Fuel Additives
I found a website a long time ago that really has some very interesting information about this topic. It is co2science.org. There are collections of papers and videos that tell a very powerful perspective that is not commonly reported in established media.
