Seed Hunting
Spotted at the South Coast Botanic Garden in Palos Verdes, CA, this green parrot was apparently spending its time doing a little seed hunting. Although it looks like it might take some effort to get the seeds out, and fluff would probably be sent flying all over the place, persistence is generally rewarded. For not giving up, and for using what nature provides, this little birdie (and its photographer) earn today’s Biofriendly Image of the Day.
