Society as a whole tends to gauge people’s success by the size of their homes, the style of cars they drive, the type of clothing they wear, how much money they have in their bank accounts and numerous other factors. The question is though…do all these objects and possessions actually equal success and happiness? Can’t someone be successful without having to have the latest technologies or big ticket items? How sustainable can we really be if we are constantly striving to have things we don’t actually need? Wouldn’t it be smarter, better for the environment and easier to live with less?
